  • Step Two: Make payment on registration dues on or before Weigh In (July 12)
  • Step Three: Weigh-In on July 12 and Equipment Distribution on July 19!

Weigh-Ins on July 12!

Meet at Oakmont in the Wrestling Room at these times:

  • Midgets: 10:00 AM

  • Jr. Midgets: 10:30 AM

  • Pee Wees: 11:00 AM

  • Jr. Pee Wees: 11:30 AM

  • Mighty Mites: 12:00 PM

These times are designated so each squad has a chance to complete weigh-ins before the next one comes in. If you have multiple players covering more than one squad, come at the earlier squad time to give you more time to complete this process.

Here is what to expect today:

  • Families will check in first and verify if registration is complete.  New players will turn in a copy of their birth certificate (we can make a copy and return certified originals to the families by the first week of practice). If you have completed your sports physical, you can turn in the the SVUSA medical release form filled out by a physician.

  • You will then move on to payments - if you have not completed registration payments online already, you will need to make a cash/check/credit card payment today. Payment plans will be accepted, all fees must be paid by August 15 in order for your player to participate in any games. Minimum of 50% of registration fees must be collected today in order for your player to receive equipment on July 19.

    • Volunteer Deposit is $200 per player, each player must have a check or credit card on file to hold in trust that required volunteer hours will be completed. If parents are not able to complete the volunteer hours, they may opt to buyout of the Volunteer time for $200 per player/cheerleader.

    • Mandatory Team Fundraiser participation: each player will receive 8 Raffle tickets to sell for $10 each. Parents will leave a check/cash/credit card information as deposit or payment for these raffle tickets. Raffle will be held at our first Home Game on September 13.  Players and Cheerleaders will have until Labor Day weekend to turn in Raffle Stubs.

    • Equipment Deposits of $350 will also be collected at this time from every player. Checks are held in trust, and not deposited until the end of the season, and then only if equipment is not returned. Parents may opt to purchase the equipment at this time as well for the $350.

  • Players will be weighed and photographed for their 2014 player card.

Equipment Distribution on July 19!

Meet at Oakmont in front of the OJV Shed by the Tennis Courts at these times:

  • Midgets: 10:00 AM

  • Jr. Midgets: 10:30 AM

  • Pee Wees: 11:00 AM

  • Jr. Pee Wees: 11:30 AM

  • Mighty Mites: 12:00 PM

  • Players will be fitted by our Football staff for equipment necessary to participate with OJV and the SVUSA.

    Practice starts on July 21!

The Oakmont Jr. Vikings Youth Football has been an essential presence in Northern California and beyond for many years.  Our goal is to develop the athleticism and character in young people while producing outstanding athletes.
    OJV  has been associated with Oakmont High School and it's surrounding communities for over a decade. Many of our participants continue to pass on the Jr. Viking & Jr. Husky traditions of Excellence and Sportsmanship into High School and beyond!

Volunteers Needed!

OJV is ran by a large group of parent and community volunteers. Throughout the season all parents are called upon to help run the games and other events your children participate in. Additionally, OJV is looking for parents and community members that want to volunteer for year long positions within the Jr. Viking Organization, fulfilling your annual volunteer requirement while also making sure this program works for all it's participants and their families. Head Coaches have been selected for Football, we are now filling Assistant Coaching positions for all teams.

To coach you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Submit an Application & be Interviewed
  • Pass background check
